A Spring Wedding at Saybrook Point Resort

Saybrook Point Resort and Marina, located on the shore of Old Saybrook, CT provided the perfect backdrop for Sarah and Stephen’s preparations. The wonderful houses at the resort offered a picturesque setting for the couple to get ready, and it was so fun to walk back and forth between the two houses. A good getting ready spot really makes a difference!

Their first look in the serene garden of Saybrook Point Resort was so sweet and really set the tone for the day, as these two really connected and visibly relaxed when they saw each other.

Despite the challenges of a windy day, Sarah and Stephen’s ceremony right on the water was nothing short of amazing. The couple embraced the elements, turning adversity into an opportunity to create a unique and unforgettable atmosphere. Gorgeous flowers by Mar Floral warmed up the space. The love and joy radiated not only from the couple but also from the lively crowd gathered to witness their union. The energy of the attendees added an extra layer of excitement, and kept everyone nice and warm.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed delightful cocktails on the resort’s deck. With scenic views and a warm atmosphere, the deck provided the perfect setting for friends and family to toast to the newlyweds, who ventured out to the windy dock for some post-ceremony portraits. The dynamic backdrop of the water and the wind added a touch of drama to the photos, and Sarah and Stephen were such good sports, despite being practically blown into the water 😉

Wonderful toasts by family and friends, and a packed dance floor capped off a wonderful day filled with love and lots of laughs. I’m so grateful to have been a part of this awesome celebration. Happy Love!
