A Beautiful Jewish Wedding at The Red Lion Inn

The anticipation I felt for Alex and Jacob’s wedding day at the Red Lion Inn in Cohasset can not be overstated — I absolutely fell in love with these two when I photographed their engagement session, and I knew their wedding was going to be so special. These two have a shared love of music and art and complement each other perfectly.

The day was a bit drizzly, but that didn’t dampen spirits at all as the bride and her attendants got ready in the garden room at The Red Lion Inn. Stunning makeup by Kerri Herlihy kept the bride glowing out in the rain as Alex and Jacob came together for their First Look. I’m always blown away by the work of Kate at Pond Street Flowers — this day was no exception. Just look at those colors!

Ketubah signings are one of my favorite part of Jewish weddings; Alex and Jacob both signed using their Hebrew names, which was really special. I love the singing and the joy of having both families there to witness this ritual. I’m also a HUGE fan of the Hora, despite always feeling like I’m going to be knocked out by a flying elbow or two. The energy is unmatched, and always makes for some great photos!

Heartfelt speeches, awesome food, and a lively dance floor added to the fun, and I left this wedding feeling so grateful that I get to weave this kind of visual tapestry that will be cherished for generations. Happy Love!
