Squantum Association Wedding | Katie + Bob

I know, I’m a little behind on blogging, but it’s SUMMER, right? I’m pretending I’m on island time. Katie and Bobby went to the Greek Isles for their honeymoon, so hopefully they are as well, and this post will be right on schedule for them 😉

I simply adored this wedding. Katie and Bobby met at Providence College, which is where they did their engagement session, where they met most of their friends, and where they came together on a beautiful day in July to celebrate their wedding. The images of Katie floating down the path towards Bobby for their First Look are some of my favorites that I’ve taken this year. Bobby’s reaction to his beautiful bride was perfect, and they spent a few moments just drinking each other in while guests were arriving at the chapel. Family was present in abundance and it was a treat to see all of the kids in the wedding interpret “walk” down the aisle in their own way. My very favorite part of this day, however, were the times during the wedding mass when Katie and Bob were just looking at each other with joy and private smiles, completely in the moment. That’s a dream for photographers 🙂

The reception was held at the Squantum Association which is simply stunning — we had clear blue skies and gorgeous views of the water, as well as an super-cool but super-loud cannon firing that delighted all of the guests. I did a little cliff climbing for kicks, and my super second shooter Amma was kind enough to document it in case I fell head first moments later. Katie was absolutely radiant in her dress and dramatic veil, and despite his initial shyness at being photographed, Bobby got into the spirit of it all and was a champ in front of the camera. It was such a happy day and I am so grateful to have been able to share it with them. Katie and Bobby, I wish you all the happiness in the world!!!
