I kicked off my 2018 Wedding season with this amazing wedding at West Dennis Yacht Club and I don’t think I could possibly love this day any more. Lisa is another of my spectacular Talbot’s brides; when she first contacted me, she and Walt were living in Denver. Shortly after that, they moved to Dallas, and I didn’t get a chance to meet Lisa until a few weeks before the wedding, but I knew from the get-go that she was going to be a fantastic bride and a friend — she is truly one of the smiliest people I have ever met, and you all know how I feel about happy people! She and Walt have been together for eight years and I can definitely see why. They make each other laugh constantly, and the way he looked at her when the doors of the church opened and she started her walk down the aisle gave me honest-to-God-goosebumps. Walt is a legit James Bond doppelgänger with a great natural smile, and Lisa — well, I’ll just let the photos speak for how incredibly beautiful she is.
Since this past April had been such a nasty beast of a month weather-wise, we all did a bunch of anti-rain dances and were rewarded with sunshine and blue skies and a perfect sunset. Lisa and Walt’s friends and family were a delight to be around, and I am so grateful to have been a part of this spectacular day. I am also indebted to Stephen and Meghan for lending a hand, and to all of the fabulous vendors who worked so well as a team for Lisa and Walt. Enjoy the show!
