Ryan, Sarah, Devin, and Annie | Chatham Cape Cod Family Photographer

A few months ago I shot a wedding in Chatham where the bride had all of her photos taken at her family’s summer home right on the water. As gorgeous as it was, it was very bright and sunny, and so at one point during the formals, the other photographer and I wandered around the neighborhood a bit to see if we could find a spot with open shade. There were some wonderful neighbors nearby who offered us their yard which was protected from the direct sun, and while we ended up not using their house, I was thrilled to hear from one of these kind folks a few weeks later. Beth’s husband Dennis just turned 50, and she wanted me to come down to their gorgeous (and perfectly lit!) house to photograph their four children as a surprise for his birthday. It was SUCH a fun shoot!

Meet Ryan, twins Devin and Sarah, and sweet Annie 🙂 They have a delicious playground for a back yard, and we took full advantage of the beach, the grass, the rocks, and the dock. I hope their dad was as happy with his gift as I was to create it. Enjoy!!
