The minute I met Molly and Jon here in my studio, I knew I wanted to shoot their wedding. They came in with these big happy smiles, and I immediately felt at ease with them. Over the course of our conversation, we found that we all had a great deal in common, and by the end of the meeting, I pretty much wanted them to move in with me so that we could hang out all the time. That’s how awesome they are. Molly just radiates kindness and her smile is like sunshine, and Jon has this great laugh that is inclusive as well as infectious. Keepers, both of them!
Their wedding day dawned bright and sunny and I met up with the girls at the Red Lion Inn here in town. Molly made the brilliant decision to hire Kelly O’Keefe of Blush to do makeup for the girls, and it was like a spa party. On the flip side, I was crazy lucky enough to have Stephanie Olsen along to second shoot for me, and she was hanging out with the guys.
Stephanie got these shots of the very handsome groom.
More gorgeous Molly…
Kelly at work.
I loved the bridesmaid dresses. Great color, and it didn’t hurt that all of the girls were such knockouts.
Stephanie got these shots of the guys outside the church.
Molly’s mom did all of the flowers for the wedding — a huge task. I think she did a great job, everything was so colorful and fresh.
It was such a pretty ceremony.
Married!!
We headed to the beach to get some shots of the whole wedding party. I had to pull out the shot everyone loved from my last wedding. I love when groomsmen get big air!
Rawr.
Stephanie caught that view from the back.
Off to the Red Lion for a great reception. Molly and Jon have a lot of fun friends, and they all like to dance. I have to thank Stephanie again for getting such a cool shot of the first dance while I struggled with a stubborn flash. Second shooter saves the day!
Thank you to Molly and Jon and their families for letting me be a part of their amazing day!
