second shooter — jen & jeff

It was truly the perfect storm of wedding photography: beautiful location (the fairy-tale Elm Bank, perfect weather, stupifyingly attractive bride and groom, and shazam! — working with the über-talented Molly Bergeron). This was a fun day.

I met up with Jeff and his groomsmen at the hotel. I love how guys wait until the very last minute to get dressed. They just hang out, discussing baseball stats and the previous night’s festivities, as if nothing more exciting is happening that day than lunch and a round or two of golf. Jeff was as calm as could be, but the one thing that gave him away was the permanent smile on his face — I never saw it fade. He was reviewing his vows when I got there, and it made me melt just to see how happy he was.

Molly had told me how stylish Jen and Jeff are. I loved all the details:

At one point, I looked across the courtyard at the other side of the hotel; look what I spied! It was a long shot through a closed window, but I love the timeless feel of this.

Is it wrong to have a little crush on the groom?

To be fair, I have one on the bride as well. Jen is simply stunning.

LOVE IT when couples decide to do a First Look. Makes all the difference in the feel of the day (make sure to check out Molly’s blog for her First Look angle, which was incredible).

A couple second shooter angles of the wedding party:

Good looking groomsmen!

On our way to the ceremony:

Um…WOW. I just loved these two!

A huge thank you to Molly for asking me to come along, and to Jen and Jeff and their families for sharing their day with us.
