Cathy + Peter — Essex Room Wedding

Cathy and Peter have been waiting forever for this blog post, but since they waited forever for each other, I think they might forgive me. These two got married at the marvelous Essex Room on Cape Ann last September on a beautiful sunny day, surrounded by friends and family. Cathy had been commuting from Dallas the entire time she and Peter had been dating, so it was doubly awesome that they held their wedding in the same place where Peter had grown up and where they were now going to make their home. Peter’s three children, as well as the couple’s big ol’ lug of a dog Bear, were a huge part of the festivities, and I had so much fun working with them! Peter is one of those guys who basically finds something hilarious to say about everything and I may have spent the better part of the day trying not to to pee my pants from laughing so hard. He and Cathy have this way of cracking each other up that shows in their photos. Just two very happy people.

A big thanks to Wayne Chinook for being my second shooter and doing such a great job with the guys (as well as lending a little wardrobe help to one of the groomsmen during the ceremony!). Cathy made some of the treats that were served during the cocktail hour and Wayne and I were swooning at her cider donut holes. Swooning. The folks at the Essex Room were great and the entire day was a delight. I am so happy that I got to be a part of it — all the best to Cathy and Peter!
