If you live anywhere near New England, you’ve likely heard — or been a part of — a collective moaning about the ridiculously late onset of normal spring weather. We’ve been cold and gray far longer than we’d like, and for many photographers, that means rescheduling sessions with the hope that the sun will finally make an appearance. Not so for my engagement shoot with Katy and Chris, however. They wanted to go to the beach, they wanted to go fishing, and they didn’t care how cold it was.
(hint: it was COLD.)
Chris grew up on this beach, and he and Katy love to go fishing here. Despite the chill, we had a really fun evening, and I even went knee deep into the water. (I am brave and mighty, although not as brave as Chris, who wore SHORTS). We didn’t catch any fish, but we did catch some wonderful moments of this sweet couple. I am so looking forward to their September wedding (when I am hoping it will not be just slightly above freezing).
