Ann & Keith are engaged! — nantucket engagement photography

“My friends call me a camera bully” — some of the first words Ann ever said to me, and music to my ears. I am completely hooked!! These two are just about the most fun you can have and I am SO honored to be shooting their wedding in July. Ann and Keith live on Nantucket (I know, bummer, huh?) and last week I took the ferry over with my girls Molly and Stacy to hang out on the island for a bit. We met up with Ann and Keith at the Brotherhood to kick things off with a local beer and a bunch of laughs, and then we headed out into Nantucket Town to start. Within about five minutes, this became one of my favorite shoots of all time. Keith is a riot, and at times I had to take deep breaths to stop laughing so I could hold the camera steady. Ann has these gorgeous blue eyes, but half of the time I couldn’t even see them because when Keith makes her laugh (which: always), she squeezes them up into this adorable face and just laughs and laughs. Needless to say, the entire day was a blast. Even the chilly temperatures at Cisco Beach (the spot where Keith proposed) didn’t make a dent in our good time. We just kept telling each other how warm it was, and with all the love and laughter, it really was.
