A Cohasset Love Story: Val and Zack’s Cohasset\PineHills Wedding

When I met with Val and Zack to talk about photographing their wedding, I couldn’t stop flashing back to the summer when I took Val’s senior portraits; this is absolutely a dream come true for someone like me, who really wants to be your photographer for life. Sigh. I had so much fun doing their engagement photos, so I knew this day was going to be EPIC.

Val and Zack’s love story started while they were in high school, and has always been rooted in their shared history. Cohasset is a wonderful town to grow up in, and both Val and Zack spent their summers at the beach with their families and friends, all of whom are part of this blended chronicle of love.

As the couple got ready at their respective homes, the significance of the day hung in the air. Val’s dress, gracefully placed next to a portrait of her parents, drew a few tears from Val and her sisters as they went through their preparations. Gorgeous florals, courtesy of Olive James Bouquets, made the house smell amazing! Zack and his guys hung out on the front porch of Zack’s family home, taking in the amazing sunshine and telling old stories.

The anticipation reached its peak as Val and Zack opted for a First Look on a private estate overlooking the water. Here, overlooking the incredible view, they quietly read their vows to each other. The festivities continued with family formals at Cohasset Yacht Club, where locals drove by on their boats and shouted congratulations to the couple.

The ceremony was held under the tent at the Pavilion at Pine Hills, where Zack’s dad officiated and sealed the deal. Cocktail hour was a fantastic opportunity to play with some champagne and get things started. The reception was stunning, complete with traditional greek dances and a few moves of unknown origin 😉

Here’s to a lifetime of more memories, adventures, and maybe a few more dance moves thrown into the mix. Cheers to the happy couple!
