second shooter — sara and garrett, martha’s vineyard

Shooting with my girl Rachel Buckley is like going to a workshop and a party at the same time. I always learn something from her, and I always do it with tears of hysterical laughter running down my face. She is a phenomenal photographer with amazing clients, and I was so stoked that I got to go with her recently when she shot Sara & Garrett’s wedding at the Daniel Fisher House in Edgartown. It was hot — like malaria hot — that day, but Sara and Garret were just as cool and wonderful as they could be. Go to Rachel’s blog for the whole amazing story; these are a few of the shots I got.

The dress. So pretty.

Sara in the dress. Even prettier. Maybe the prettiest EVER.

Garrett looks like he just stepped out of a J. Crew ad; Rachel and I both did a little drooling. It happens.

The venue has this amazing porch where Sara and Garrett had their First Look. I got to shoot some fun alternate angles.

Here is the first of TWO crab apples that fell on my head. And a great view through antique windows of Sara and her Maid of Honor.

Garrett just hanging out waiting for his bride to come to the church, and posing with his parents. Seriously, it’s not fair to be smoking hot when it’s already 117 degrees out.

One last moment with her dad before Sara walked down the aisle.

Once again, make sure you check out Rachel’s blog for a full day’s worth of tremendous photos. Rach, thank you for inviting me to share in this amazing wedding, and a huge thank you to Sara and Garrett and their families for all of their hospitality. Especially since I was such a sweaty troll. 😉
