Sarah + Sam | Barker Tavern Scituate Wedding

So many different kinds of couples come through my doors — couples who met in high school, couples who met in college or at work, couples who met through friends or online; and each of them has a wonderful story to tell. When Sam and Sarah came to my house for our first meeting, and I saw how incredibly in love they were with each other, you could have knocked me over when they told me that they were, in fact, a Tinder success story. 🙂 🙂 🙂

These two may just be the most emotionally connected individuals I have ever met. It’s obvious in the way they look at each other, speak to each other, touch each other, and in a million different little ways that I observed when I was lucky enough to spend time with them. The respect that they show for one another should be the barometer by which all humans should abide. We did their engagement session in Cambridge in the spring, so their summer wedding at the Barker Tavern was the perfect counterpoint. From beginning to end, Sam and Sarah’s wedding was filled with emotion. I told Sam a while back that grooms who cry are a photographer’s favorite thing, and he certainly obliged! Everyone else had their fair share of tears as well, but there was also so much love and laughter in the room.

I am a better person for having witnessed the love these two share, both with each other and with the friends and family who surround them. Thank you, Sam and Sarah, for including me in your amazing day!
