An Autumn Wedding at The Red Lion Inn

So, let me tell you about this awesome wedding I shot recently at (where else) the Red Lion Inn in Cohasset. It was Nancy and Mic’s big day, and let me tell you, it was one for the books!

First off, let’s talk about Nancy’s farm. Picture this: horses, goats, chickens, ducks, cats, dogs, and even peacocks—yeah, Mic was definitely in for a surprise when he first showed up to work on Nancy’s property. But guess what? He ended up falling head over heels for Nancy and her whole farm life gig. Isn’t that just the sweetest? We did their engagement session surrounded by all of the animals that Nancy and Mic call family, and it was amazing.

Anyway, fast forward to the wedding day, where Nancy and her nieces got ready together — lots of giggling. Mic hung out with his buddies and had a relaxing morning before meeting Nancy out on the covered walkway for their First Look. The Red Lion Inn was the perfect spot for these two. It has this rustic charm that just fits Nancy and Mic’s style to a T.

Nancy’s nephew walked her down the aisle where Mic was standing proudly with his son, and their ceremony was so sweet and fun. It’s clear these two are totally meant to be together.

Now, let’s talk about the reception—cue the fun! Nancy had this brilliant idea to have Bingo during cocktail hour, and let me tell you, it was a hit. Also worth noting was the incredibly fun Peacock Cake, which I had trouble fitting into one frame…But the real showstopper? Mic’s Zumba moves on the dance floor. I kid you not, this guy had moves for days, and the crowd went wild!

As a wedding photographer, I live for moments like these. Capturing the love, the laughter, and all those little candid moments in between—it’s what I do best.

Happy love to Nancy, Mic, and all of their wonderful four-legged friends!
