Happy Monday! I am committing to a full eight hours in front of my computer today (which: ick); what better way to start things off than with a whole lot of love and some very cool dogs? I adored Lauren and James the moment I met them. Lauren is an absolute knockout, with big eyes that melt the camera, and James is quick with a smile and a laugh. When we set the date for their engagement shoot, they knew they wanted to go somewhere meaningful, so we met up at Tubbs Meadow where they’ve been taking their dogs Vinnie and Mack for years. The light was beautiful, the dogs were goofy and fun, and I didn’t see a single snake. That’s the recipe for a fun night.

We started off with a casual walk. Mack understood the word casual to mean “nobody minds if I just poop, right?”

The dogs weren’t really down with my “sit still and look cute” theme, but Lauren and James took it in stride and we were all cracking up.

I love the way these two look at each other.

Happy family.

A quick change and a handoff of the dogs, and we were ready for a little heat.
