Some couples need a little coaching to get into the mood for their engagement shoot. Coaching, or cocktails. Not so in the case of Kelley and Josh — they showed up ready to roll. They’re so into each other that just being around them is all kinds of warm and fuzzy. Kelley’s six-year-old son Connor might have had something to do with that as well. He brought his best smile and was truly a delight to work with. We met up in Duxbury and braved the chill to get some great relaxed portraits.
The very happy couple:
I love the color of winter beach grass.
This bridge is a true icon of my childhood — I rode my bike over it every single day in the summer. We commandeered a spot at one end and held up traffic for a bit. Totally worth it.
Love love love these:
Connor was such a great sport throughout, but I know how kids need to have a little something to look forward to, so I taught him about the photo bomb. He became an expert pretty quickly!
Kelley and Josh are expecting a baby later this year; consider these the first family portraits!
Off to the harbor to finish out the day. Kelley and Josh, thank you SO much for being such a wonderful couple to work with. And Connor can be my assistant anytime!
