There isn’t anything that I can tell you about Katy and Chris that you won’t be able to see in these photos. They are best friends, they are so fun, and they are 100% in tune with each other. When I met them for their engagement session, we went fishing, and even though we didn’t catch a thing, I had an amazing time just hanging out with them. They are laid-back and easy and their wedding day was a blast.
The ceremony was held at the house where Chris grew up and the location was spectacular. Chris built an altar out of driftwood and the couple stood on a bluff right above the beach, and the guests were treated to amazing views of the ocean. Post-ceremony, we did a champagne toast on the roof of the house, and then the wedding party all traipsed down to the beach where there were foot races, spontaneous lessons on how to do The Floss, and a whole lot of laughs. If you know me, you know I was trying to get them IN the water ;), but Katy shut that down. Smart girl!
The reception at the Cohasset Golf Club was beautiful and I really love it when a couple gets out on the dance floor and stays there — the guests are so happy to get to spend this time with their friends, and it makes for such good energy. By the time I packed up to leave, I was sweating buckets from being in the crowd. Such a fun party and truly, such an amazing couple. Many thanks to my girl Amy for helping me out all day long!
Katy and Chris, I was so honored to have been a part of your day, and I hope you adore these photos as much as I do. Happy love!! xoxox
