Derek — Cohasset Senior Photographer

This is a blog post in two parts. Emily contacted me a month or so ago and asked me if I would shoot her senior photos, and then asked if she could bring a friend along. This is fairly common, so I said yes and thought she’d be bringing one of her girlfriends for support and fun — turns out she was speaking of her very sweet and very smart boyfriend Derek. I shot both Derek and Emily’s photos that night, and while there are lots of great shots of the two of them, I wanted to start with Derek’s senior photos since he totally nailed it. He was just as comfortable in a tie as he was in more casual clothes, and once he told me he was hoping to go to MIT, I told him he’d probably always get to wear whatever he wants.

I love that his mom Diane jumped in for one!
