Dan & Rebecca — Boston Engagement Photographer

I’m not always a big fan of birthdays — most years on my day I wake up, groan, and hide back under the covers. Unless there’s cake, in which case I will drag myself out of bed and eat it all, but truthfully, for the past few years there hasn’t been any cake, only numbers creeping slowly toward my scary age.

This year, however, I have a very good reason to greet the day with all kinds of happiness, because it’s the day that Dan and Becca are getting married, and THAT is something worth getting out of bed for. I can’t even begin to explain how fun these two are. We met up on a sunny afternoon a short time ago to shoot their engagement photos, and we pretty much laughed our way through the entire afternoon. While we were sitting at the bar in the hotel, Dan told me that capturing photos on the Greenway Carousel was hugely important to Rebecca; when we got there, and he saw that he was going to have to straddle a giant lobster amongst a bunch of kids, his face was priceless. I can’t remember when I’ve laughed that hard. He was a great sport about it, and I can see why — Becca is simply amazing and the way these two are with each other is infectious. I love the way he looks at her.
