A Private Backyard Wedding in Concord, MA

I met Marlo when she and her family moved to Cohasset after living in Switzerland. She and I became good friends, and I had the honor of photographing her kids for their senior photos. Marlo and I weathered a lot of life’s ups and downs together over cups of coffee and many cocktails. When she met John and they got engaged, I was over the moon for her, and I am so excited that she asked me to be her wedding photographer. Marlo is one of those incredible human beings who believes in everyone she meets and always has a word of encouragement. Seeing her joy in finding love with John, and watching them celebrate with their friends and family is a huge blessing. This was a day filled with laughter through tears, dancing in the rain, and infinite second chances.

It was a treat to work with Sarah from MavinHouse, who coordinated an absolutely beautiful scene at Marlo and John’s home in Concord, MA. Julie from Bittersweet Gardens transformed the backyard space into a sweet country garden for the ceremony, and The Catered Affair fed a crowd of friends who had travelled from all over the world
