When I first met with Danielle, she told me that she and Nick really wanted to get married alone. On a mountain top. That they would hike to the summit of. I silently sweated for a minute or two until she said that it was going to be a private ceremony and they only wanted a photographer for the reception they would throw later in the summer. Good thing, because I don’t think I could manage to carry all of my gear as well as the supplemental oxygen I need if I get over 1000 feet. The rooftop at the Nantasket Hotel at the Beach is far more my speed.
Danielle and Nick did their mountaintop ceremony, a fun engagement shoot with their kids, and a few weeks ago, they gathered their family and friends to celebrate with them. It was a beautiful summer night and all of the happiness and love that these families share was evident in every moment.
Danielle opted for a non-traditional dress, and she totally shimmered, as did the rest of the family…
Danielle and her awesome mom Eileen.
I love a bride that wants to play model with me…we had fun on the stairs!
Some gorgeous sunset moments on the roof with Danielle and Nick. These two have to be some of the nicest people I have ever met, and their love for each other made my job so easy. It was so wonderful to be up there with them.
A fantastic party!
Danielle and Nick have been the picture of patience these past few weeks while I’ve been dealing with computer issues — I am grateful to them for that, as well as for their complete and total awesomeness. Their kids Adrian and Elijah, their parents, their friends; everyone around them is wonderful and supportive and fun, and I wish them all the happiness in the world! xoxo
