I love all shapes and sizes of weddings, but I have a special place in my heart for couples who have found each other in a whole new chapter. Dust and Carol got married on a recent sunny Saturday surrounded by their friends, family (including 11 of Dust’s 13 siblings!), and their own children, who were as much a part of the intimate ceremony as the bride and groom. After a sweet First Look where Dust shed a few tears over how gorgeous Carol looked (he predicted that he would do this back when we shot their engagement session), friends scattered rose petals and the couple had all of their guests gather in a circle up on the rocks by the Scituate Lighthouse and even random onlookers were moved by the ceremony.
The newlyweds arrived at the Maritime Center via their friend’s boat, with the whole crowd cheering them on, and then spent a wonderful afternoon out on the patio with their guests. A small wedding for sure, but the love was large and abundant, and I am so honored that I got to share in these moments with them. Big thanks to Shannon Sorenson for coming along to help out!
Dust and Carol, I wish you all the happiness in the world and I look forward to hearing about your trip to the DR!
